Policies for Personal Information Protection by the U-50 INTERNATIONAL HOKURIKU KOGEI (artisan crafts) AWARDS

1. Proper protection of personal information

The organizer recognizes the importance of personal information, and will adhere to the Act on the Protection of Personal Information, the Toyama Prefecture Personal Information Protection Code, and related laws; will properly and safely manage the personal information of those applying to the U-50 INTERNATIONAL HOKURIKU KOGEI (artisan crafts) AWARDS (hereafter referred to as “applicants”); and carry out appropriate measures to prevent leaking, loss, or damage of personal information.

2. Purpose of using personal information

The applicants’ personal information will be used solely for the purpose of engaging in affairs related to the U-50 INTERNATIONAL HOKURIKU KOGEI (artisan crafts) AWARDS
(i.e., communications needed for operation, announcement of jury results, shipping of documents, announcements of related events, statistical work).

3. Providing personal information to a third party

The applicants’ personal information will not be given to a third party without the consent of the applicant.

4. Request by applicant for notification, disclosure, discontinuation, and deletion of purpose of use

Applicants have the right to make a request to the organizer on disclosure, etc. of their own personal information (i.e., notification of purpose of use; disclosure; correction, addition, deletion of content; discontinuation or elimination of use; discontinuation of provision to a third party). In such an event, the event host will first verify the applicant’s identity and respond to the request within a reasonable timeframe.
